Canada Day celebrations in Lewis Park feature two great headline acts, The Timebenders at the Night Before Concert and WWW (West Coast Chicago) on Canada Day.

Canada Day celebrations in Lewis Park feature two great headline acts, The Timebenders at the Night Before Concert and WWW (West Coast Chicago) on Canada Day.

The Night Before Concert in Lewis Park on Sunday, June 30 starts at 4 p.m. and includes Indigenous and multicultural performances. The Sean Grieve Committee performs at 6:45 p.m. and The Timebenders take to the stage from 8 to 9:45 p.m.

Hailing from Victoria, The Timebenders are a popular show band at festivals. With more than 15 amazing costume changes, uncanny celebrity impersonations more than over 50 years of hits, their 'Rock Down Memory Lane' is an explosive, interactive, high-energy show that will have everyone on the dance floor.

On Canada Day, performances start at 9 a.m. with the Comox Valley Concert Band at the Randy Wiwchar Plaza in front of the Sid Williams. At 11 a.m. Lyall Steel and Isabelle Durand perform in Lewis Park with classical creative guitar with beautiful arrangements sung in French, Spanish and English.

WCC (West Coast Chicago) performs from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in Lewis Park. WCC is a tribute band that celebrates the music of the legendary rock band Chicago. Chicago produced hits spanning classical, jazz, R&B, and pop genres.

Their iconic songs include '25 or 6 to 4,' 'Beginnings,' “Hard To Say I’m Sorry, 'Saturday In The Park', and more. WCC captures the authentic sound of Chicago’s hits from 1969 to 1991, paying homage to this remarkable band.
