The Comox Valley Regional District Sports and Aquatic Centre pools will be undergoing closures this summer to complete the required maintenance within the respective facilities.
From June 22 to July 1, the Comox Valley Sports Centre will be closed for staff training and will reopen on July 2 with the summer pool schedule in effect until Aug. 27.
Form July 1 to Sept. 2, the Comox Valley Aquatic Centre will be closed for annual maintenance.
“When the weather is warm outside and many residents (are) flocking to the rivers, beaches and lakes our team works hard to get pool facilities ready for the busy fall season,” explains Kevin Penny, manager of Recreation Services.
