Coastal Community Credit Union’s Sunset Cinema is returning to a 3-story screen near you. Comox Valley families will be able to enjoy a movie under a starry sky on the night of July 22, at Simms Millennium Park. The night’s movie, Trolls Band Together, will begin as soon as it gets dark.
“Sunset Cinema is one of the highlights of our year,” said Allyson Prescesky, corporate communications person for the credit union. “These free family-friendly movies are a great opportunity to build connections with each other. Supporting families goes to the heart of who we are, and we can’t wait to see you there!”
First-time attendees are invited to arrive early to find a spot for their blankets, pillows or lawn chairs.
On-site concession sales will go to the Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island. Last year the event raised about $10,000.
