Comox Valley RCMP investigating several thefts in Courtenay during December

The Comox Valley RCMP are investigating several thefts in the area and have released surveillance footage of multiple suspects associated with various incidents over the last few months.

On Dec. 4, one suspect allegedly broke into an unlocked vehicle parked on Stewart Avenue and stole a wallet. The suspect was then recorded using a debit card to purchase $200 worth of merchandise at a business located on the 2200-block of Cliffe Avenue in Courtenay (file 2025-18460)

Another person allegedly stole from a liquour store on the 1000-block of Cliffe Ave. on Dec. 4, and then stole from another business later in the 2200-block of the same street later that evening (files 2025-18480 and 2025-18483).

A third suspect allegedly broke into a business on the 3200-block of Small Road in Courtenay on Dec. 8. Police are looking for someone who might have information or recognize the clothing, backpack, or the wagon (file 2025-18639).
