I have been in the media industry for over 15 years. In 2017, I joined the Black Press Media consulting team, bringing a decade of experience in community newspapers. Quickly, I moved into the role of publisher at the Campbell River Mirror. During my tenure as publisher, I focused on the growth of the Mirror’s print and digital products. In June 2021, I assumed the role of publisher at the Comox Valley Record. Since then, I have successfully led the team to consistently exceed revenue targets, and once again invested into the Record’s role as a community leader. On the weekend, you'll find me playing tennis or coaching on the soccer field with my 16-year-old son, Markus, or hiking with my wife of 21 years, Jennifer.
